Each performer of "Nice Jewish Girls Gone Bad" features a cornucopia of unconventional chosen chicks, a wicked combination of comedy, music, spoken word and burlesque who have appeared on Comedy Central, HBO, MTV and major network television.


hoop Susannah Perlman
is a comedian/chanteuse and producer. Originally from Pittsburg, The Goddess now lives in NYC. She has graced the stages of Lollapalooza, The NYC Burlesque Fest at the Knitting Factory, The Edinburgh Fringe, Philly Fringe, Joe's Pub, Fez, Stephen Talkhouse, Ladyfest, the HOWL festival and even created her own festival, The Goddess Fest in Upstate New York. Perlman is the brains behind "Nice Jewish Girls Gone Bad" which has gone on to greatness. She has also been feaured on TLC, NY1, Metro Channel and numerous radio stations around the country.

Ophira Eisenberg (Comedy Cental)
is a stand-up comedian, writer and actor. Hailing from Canada, she performs regularly at renowned comedy clubs and colleges across the country, including Carolines' on Broadway, The Improv in Las Vegas and Atlantic City, Stand-Up New York and The Comedy Garden at Madison Square Garden. Ophira has appeared at New York's most prestigious venues, PSNBC and Luna Lounge. She has appeared on The Guardian (CBS), Queer As Folk (Showtime), Best Week Ever (VH1's the Oxygen Network), and her own half-hour comedy special in Canada on CTV's "Comedy Now!" She is also a contributing writer to US Weekly Fashion Police, girlcomic.net, Drill magazine and Jest humor magazine. She was a finalist in Comedy Central's Laugh Riots competition and will be featured on Comedy Central's Premium Blend in february.

Vanessa Hidary 
Actress/Poet/Playwright/Native New Yorker Vanessa Hidary grew up on Manhattan's culturally diverse Upper West Side, graduating from LaGuardia High School of the Arts and Hunter College.She has aired three times on the “Russell Simmon's Def Poetry Jam" on HBO, and is featured in the film “The Tribe” which was selected for the 2006 Sundance Film Festival. Her  solo show, "Culture Bandit", was originally produced by LAByrinth Theatre Company (Artistic Directors; Phillip Seymour Hoffman and John Ortiz) and toured extensively around North America.

Rena Zager
has appeared on NBC's "Late Friday", Comedy Centrals' "Premium Blend" and on VH1 -- probably not wearing enough make-up if you ask her mother. She performs throughout the city, including at Caroline's, Stand-Up New York, Luna Lounge, Don't Tell Mama's and New York Comedy club. She put together a little something she called "Everything Makes Me Nervous" which she performed at the 2004 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She was a storyteller for "Heeb" magazine's "The Shmoth".

Mindy Raf
Mindy is a stand-up comic, actress, and writer living in New York City. She authors a widely-read relationship column on CollegeHumor.com that has been featured in The New Yorker and the New York Post. She is a frequent contributor to The Phat Phree comedy web site as well as the weekly stand-up publication, The Comical. Mindy can also be seen on VH-1's "Best Night Ever".

Poppi Kramer
Poppi Kramer can be found anywhere a living, breathing human being will listen. She has been spreading her seeds of hilarity all over the the country after finding out that an MFA in acting can only wield a bartending job. You can see Poppi at "Suddenly Stand-Up" every Wednesday at The Duplex. Poppi most recently appeared and won NBC's "The Biggest Loser."

Julie Goldman
was born in Boston, Mass just a few years ago. She attended the prestigious Emerson College in Boston, majoring in Theatre Education. Her stellar 2.5 GPS has rocketed her to the heights of the middle.Julie co-stars on THE BIG GAY SKETCH SHOW on LOGO where she is an ensemble memeber of the first ever gay sketch comedy show. Julie also appears on COMEDY CENTRAL with her featured Stand-up LIVE AT GOTHAM. Julie performs in comedy clubs around NYC and at festivals, on cruises and in clubs all over the country.

Cynthia Levin
is a stand-up comic and an actress. Originally from Chicago, she spent her formative years studying at the acclaimed Second City improvisational company. She was featured in the Hollywood Reporter's 2000 Comedy Issue as "One To Watch". In February 20004, Cynthia appeared on "Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn" on Comedy Central and produced her one-woman show at the Duplex in NYC. She was also seen in the movie "See Jane Run" by the producers of the films "Swingers" and "Go". POPPI KRAMER can be found anywhere a gay man will listen. She has been spreading her seeds of hilarity all over the country after finding out that an MFA in acting can only wield a bartending job. You can see Poppi every Tuesday at Therapy (the bar, not the office), every Wednesday at The Duplex, and every Thursday at The Cage (Hoboken, NJ). All three shows feature Poppi as the MC, producer and booker. You can also find Poppi's naked ass in the indie feature "Dummy" starring Adrien Brody (her face is in it as well) and in the upcoming feature, "Slippery Rope". She has also appeared on the Style Network, E and ComedyCentral.com. Poppi was named one of the best of 2004 in the Village Voice.

Shawn Pelofsky, raised as one of the ten Jews in Oklahoma. She now lives in LA to live with the rest of the Hebrews. She has a theater degree from USC and has appeared on Comics Unleashed and the Chelsea Handler Show on E!

Dana Eagle is a New Jersey Native. She has appeared on Comedy Centrals' Premium Blend, national commercials, and a host position on the Oxygen Network.Showtime commissioned Ms. Eagle to write and film her own comic interstitials for their premiere channel ShowNEXT. She recently completed a pilot for the E! Entertainment Network, and has been seen in a series of memorable commercials beside Jay Mohr and football legend, Boomer Esiahson. Comedy clubs around the country are abuzz about Dana, who features for some of today's top headliners. Eagle earned the title of "Best New Comedian" at the Bud Light Ladies of Laughter Competition.

Rachel Feinstein
was born and raised in Washington, D.C. As the daughter of a civil rights lawyer and a blues musician, Rachel developed both a strong need to perform and a keen eye for the absurd and the unjust. Performing at clubs around NY and up the East Coast for the last five years, Rachel ropes in her audiences with her unique, character driven style of storytelling. She has written for the Onion, is a regular at Carolines' on Broadway and has appeared on Comedy Central's "Premium Blend".

Jessica Golden
was recently featured in the Montreal Comedy Festival, “Just for Laughs.” Jessica performs at clubs and colleges across the country Jessica appeared in REIGN OVER ME (starring Adam Sandler and Don Cheadleas well as HBO’s MIND OF THE MARRIED MAN, E! Entertainment Television, and CMT. Her other film credits include: CLOUD NINE (HBO), MARRIAGE MATERIAL (Lifetime), GIRL PLAY (Indie), and STICK IT IN DETROIT (Indie).

Jessica Wood
is from Los Angeles and now lives in NYC where she is a comedian. She has appeared on Def Comedy Jam and travels the country performing.

Hilary Schwartz
has been on XM radio, appeared at the California Comedy Festival, opened for Dave Attell, tour with "Nice Jewish Girls Gone Bad." Songwriter, guitarist and co-lead singer for The Manson Family Singers. Producer/writer of variety show, Urban Hee Haw. Video maker.

Michelll Collins
is from Miami, Florida. She is Barnard Alum and does stand-up comedy all over NYC and currently blogs and appears on VH-1's Best Week Ever.
